MTO Approved BDE Certificate Program
Beginner Driver Education Program

There are three components to this Ministry Approved Certificate Program.
1. In-Classroom or eLearning
2. Drive Online Home Assignment
3. In-Car Training.
Upon successful completion of this program, students will be certified online with the MTO. This allows them to take their G1 exit road test after 8 months instead of 12 months. BDE Graduates with a Drivers Licence History may also be eligible for an insurance discount.
In-Class Program Details
- 20 Hours In-Class learning
- 10 Hours Flexible Online Home Assignment

(drive at your own schedule/time) - Drive online home assignments can start before in-class.
- Each In-Car Session is 60 minutes in duration
- One-on-one In-Car Training

Free Home, Work or School Pickup for In-Car Lessons
(within close proximity of your home) - Certificate of Completion (sent by email)
- Roat Test Booking (optional)
- All components of the program must be completed within one (1) year from the start date.
- B.D.E Graduates with a Drivers Licence History may be eligible for an insurance discount.
